Asia Gifford

Dr. Gifford performs evaluations to assess for Autism Spectrum Disorder in children as young as 12 months old.  The evaluations are either conducted in the office or virtually and include observations of the child, administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule - Second Edition (ADOS-2), a diagnostic interview, parent questionnaires, and teacher questionnaires (if applicable).  Dr. Gifford has participated in intensive ADOS-2 training with the Emory Autism Center. All complete assessments include an intake session with the parent/guardian, all testing sessions needed, and a feedback session with the parent/guardian to review the results and discuss recommendations.
